A man pleaded not guilty Monday to robbing a Shell station on Pacific Avenue South.
Jonathan Patrick Durham, 22, is charged with first-degree robbery.
A lawyer for Durham could not be reached Tuesday night.
According to court documents:
A suspect entered the station about 12:45 a.m. Nov. 18 and pointed what looked like an automatic pistol at an employee, then took the cash register and left.
Investigators determined that Durham was a suspect, based on a source that specifically identified him as the robber. The robbery was caught on video.
When officers searched Durham’s home, they found the cash register and a similar looking handgun, which appeared to be an air soft gun. They also found checks from the Shell station.
The court set his bail at $100,000.
