Man fatally shot in Auburn apartment complex identified, suspects arrested

A man who was fatally shot during a fight at an Auburn apartment complex Monday was identified by the King County Medical Examiner’s Office today as 40-year-old Michael Stevenson.

Two others were injured in the fight between two groups of people about 8:30 p.m. Monday in the complex in the 2000 block of I Street Northeast.

A 23-year-old man suffered nonfatal gunshot and stab wounds and a 30-year-old woman suffered a cut to her arm, according to Auburn police

Three suspects have been arrested, Cmdr. Mike Hirman said today.

Police recovered weapons consistent with the injuries, and believe there may be additional suspects and witnesses to be identified, he added.
