Auburn woman with dementia missing since Sunday

An elderly Auburn woman has been missing since Sunday and police are asking the public to keep an eye out for her.

Helen Inks got into a disagreement with a family member and left home about 6:15 p.m. She took her purse but left her medications for diabetes and heart problems. She also suffers from mild dementia, according to city officials.

Inks has left home before but usually returns within a day. She frequents casinos and bingo halls and travels on foot or by bus because she does not have a driver’s license.

Anyone who has information in Inks’ whereabouts is asked to call 911.
