The Lakewood Police Department is looking for more officers, and it’s holding an open house Sunday for people interested in applying.

From 1-4 p.m. Sunday, potential applicants will be able to meet Lakewood officers, check out special police equipment and tour the station at 9401 Lakewood Drive SW.

Candidates must be 21, have a high school diploma and no adult felonies, says Lt. Chris Lawler, a police spokesman.
