Pierce County sheriff’s detectives are trying to identify three boys caught twice on surveillance cameras breaking the windows of Cedarcrest Middle School in Spanaway.

The vandalism occurred Oct. 14 and Sunday, both times around 3 p.m.

The boys rode bicycles onto school grounds on 13th Avenue Court East and used sticks to bust out windows on several portable classrooms before riding off.

An estimate of damages wasn’t immediately available.

Two of the boys appear to be 12 or 13, 5-feet-5 and 110-140 pounds. The third boy is 8 or 9, about 4-feet tall and 70 pounds. All three of them wore dark hooded sweatshirts and rode black BMX-style bikes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Tacoma-Pierce County Crimestoppers at 253-591-5959.
