A 19-year-old felon wanted for nearly shooting a baby at his girlfriend’s Federal Way apartment earlier this month has been arrested, police said.

U.S. Marshalls found D’vontaveous Hoston outside his old house in Seattle and put him under surveillance until positively identifying him. He was booked into the SCORE jail in Des Moines on suspicion of reckless endangerment and first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.

Hoston got into an argument Oct. 15 with someone inside the apartment and fired a handgun, Federal Way police spokeswoman Cathy Schrock said.

The bullet nearly struck a 1-year-old in the bedroom.
