A flood watch was expanded this morning to include two rivers in Pierce and King counties, according to the National Weather Service.

With heavy rain forecast to hit through Wednesday, officials warn that the Puyallup River near Orting and the White River below the mud dam could possibly overflow. County officials are monitoring the water.

The flood watch extends through Wednesday morning.

Up to 2 inches could fall in Tacoma by Wednesday afternoon. Mountain areas like Paradise could see 4 inches, with the snow level rising to 7,000 or 8,000 feet.
