Car drives through window at University Place grocery store

A car drove through a large glass window at the Safeway in University Place this morning, officials said.

The accident happened about 11:15 a.m. at the store, 3842 Bridgeport Way.

No injuries were reported.

It’s unclear what caused the crash. KIRO-TV is reporting that the driver’s foot slipped off the gas pedal.
