Eatonville police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person who drove across the high school’s football field, badly damaging the turf.

The vandalism, caught on surveillance tape, happened about 3 a.m. Sunday.

The Junior Varsity team still played Monday on B.W. Lyon Field despite the damages. It’s unclear when the turf will be replaced or how much it will cost.

The sod was laid down in 2009 after being donated by the Seattle Sounders.

Anyone with information on the white truck seen doing doughnuts on the field is asked to call the Police Department at 360-832-6111.
