Tacoma Fire has scheduled its annual CPR Sunday for Oct. 14.
The free classes throughout the day provide classroom and practical CPR training.
After learning the basics, participants practice with manikins and automatic external defibrillators.
People who take the course will get a citizen-level CPR card.
Participants can preregister online.
Classes will be at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. at Foss High School, 2112 S. Tyler St.
American Sign Language and Spanish interpreters will be at the 10 a.m. class.
