Police are looking for a suspect who dragged a Tacoma police officer during a traffic stop about 9:45 tonight.

Officers were making the stop near South 82nd Street and East F Street, when the male driver of the green vehicle they had pulled over somehow dragged one of the officers a short distance, police spokesman Mark Fulghum said.

The officer was not injured, Fulghum said.

Police are searching for the suspect, he said.

Further details were not immediately available.
