UPDATED: Kent police search for missing teen at risk for health issues without medicines

UPDATE: An officer found McCallister about 11 p.m. Tuesday not far from the teen’s home, according to Kent police. The boy was safe and was reunited with his family.

INTIAL POST: A Kent teenager missing since Monday afternoon may be at risk without his prescribed medicines, his family says.

Trajan C. McCallister, 14, was last seen at Kent’s East Hill skate park at 116th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 240th Street, which is near his home, police said.

He uses a white wheelchair with a black seat and is described as a black male; 5 foot, 10 inches; and 165 pounds. He was wearing a red sweatshirt and black jeans the last time he was seen, and has both his ears pierced.

He has dental braces.

Officers searched by the park this morning and are also looking near Covington, where McCallister has friends, according to Kent police.’

Anyone who sees McCallister is asked to call 911.
