Tacoma police on the lookout for serial robber

Tacoma police are looking for a man thought responsible for at least five armed robberies. Detectives believe the same man committed the following crimes:

  • September 19th at a Subway on Tacoma Mall Blvd. in Tacoma
  • September 22nd at a Safeway on S. 56th St. in Tacoma
  • September 24th at a Pizza Time on Pacific Ave. in Tacoma
  • September 24th at a Pizza Hut on Pacific Ave. in Tacoma
  • September 25th at a Papa John’s Pizza on Pacific Ave. in Tacoma

Witnesses said the suspect was armed with a handgun and demanded cash from clerks. The  suspect fired a shot outside the Subway he robbed on September 19, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20’s or early 30’s, between 5 feet 10 and 6 feet talll, with a slender build and short dark brown hair.

Tipsters can receive a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to someone being arrested and charged inthe case. Call 253-591-5959 with tips. All callers will remain anonymous
