From news partner KIRO-TV:

Downed electrical lines trapped 38 students on a school bus in Auburn this afternoon after the bus hit a power pole on its route home.

The power lines fell atop the bus after the accident at 292nd Street Southeast and 132nd Avenue Southeast.

No one was hurt.

The students were from Arthur Jacobson Elementary School, said deputy superintendent Mike Newman.

Puget Sound Energy crews responded to the scene, and confirmed an outage that affected 1,700 customers was caused by the school bus.

Crews closed 132nd Avenue Southeast in both directions in front of Auburn Mountainview High School.
