Federal Way police have arrested three people in connection with a string of gas station robberies in South King County last week.

The alleged robbers are from Seattle and Renton and between 24-31 years old. They are expected to be charged next week.

Detectives recovered surveillance footage from the holdups, which took place in Kent, Federal Way and Renton. After releasing the images to the media, someone provided a tip to police and detectives conducted surveillance at a south Seattle home this morning.

The owner of the getaway car “confirmed a connection between the vehicle, the suspects and the robberies,” police spokeswoman Cathy Schrock said.

A man and woman were arrested at the home. A second man was later arrested as he left a Renton home.
