Jaws of Life used in I-5 rescue

After a collision that ended with a car in a ditch, crews used the jaws of life to rescue a patient on Interstate 5 this morning, according to Tacoma Fire.

Officials were called to I-5 by South 54th Street at 9:36 a.m.

The patient, who was trapped in the vehicle, was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
