Nineteen people were displaced Sunday morning after a fire severely damaged an apartment building.
Valley Regional Fire Authority was called to the 2300 block of Poplar Street SE about 12:20 a.m. and found flames on the first and second floor of the four-plex.
After evacuating the residents, crews contained the blaze to a single unit and the attic. The other three units suffered heat and water damage, fire officials said.
No injuries were reported and a cause has not been determined.
