Tacoma man injured in drive-by shooting

An 18-year-old Tacoma man was shot in the arm during a drive-by shooting early this morning.

The incident occurred about 2:30 a.m. in the 6200 block of East M Street.

Police said the shooter fired a single round from a .38 caliber semiautomatic handgun into the home, striking the man inside. The spent cartridge was recovered outside the home.

The victim was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. No arrests have been made.
