The City of Tacoma revoked the business licenses of three medical marijuana dispensaries Thursday and ordered them to cease doing business.

The City Finance Department hand-delivered letters to Emerald Pharms, T-Town Alternative Medicine and The Vape Bar, all in South Tacoma.

“You have exhausted all of your appeal rights . . . and must cease all business activity immediately,” said the letters to Emerald Pharms and T-Town Alternative Medicine.

The Vape Bar was given 10 days to appeal. The business had described its activity as “electronic cigarettes and accessories,” the letter said, when it appeared that marijuana was being produced and consumed on the premises.
