Tacoma police responded to two drive-by shootings Saturday night, but they said the two didn’t seem to be related.

Officers were called about 9:45 p.m. to the 4200 block of East Q Street for reported sounds of a vehicle speeding away and several gunshots being fired.

A 14-year-old sitting inside another vehicle suffered a non-life-threatening injury from a bullet that grazed the back of his head, police said.

Officers booked a 16-year-old suspect into Remann Hall in connection with the shooting, police said.

Later police were called at 11: 36 p.m. to the 400 block of Harrison Street for similar reports.

There was property damage,  but no injuries in that shooting, police said.

They were still looking for the suspect.
