A motorcyclist led King County sheriff’s deputies on a high-speed chase this morning before crashing into a patrol car, KIRO-TV reports.

The incident started in Federal Way when deputies tried to pull the man over for speeding and reckless driving. He initiated a chase, which went through Kent and Auburn before the motorcyclist crashed and fled on foot.

Deputies were not able to find the man but said he left the motorcycle at the scene and they should be able to track down the registered owner.
