Firefighters were called to the 100 block of South Harrison Street at 5:01 p.m. for a brush fire in a field north of the address, according to Tacoma Fire.

It spread to about 15 by 75 feet, and crews have knocked most of it down, Tacoma Fire Battalion Chief Ray Manglona said.

Firefighters are currently working on knocking down the edges, he said.

No one was injured and the fire didn’t reach any buildings.
