Tacoma police are looking for Jerry Heilman, who left his home early Aug. 1, and has not contacted family, friends or his employer since.

Heilman, 49, is an avid hunter and fisherman who knows the areas around Silver Lake, Mount Rainier and Mount St. Helens, police said.

He bought gas at 8th Avenue East and Mountain Highway at 1:18 a.m. Aug. 1, police said.

Heilman is described as 6 feet, 1 inch and 202 pounds. He was last seen wearing a “Massage Envy” t-shirt and khaki pants.

Anyone with information about Heilman’s whereabouts is asked to call Tacoma police at 253-798-4722.
