An armed man robbed a Tacoma gas station early this morning and made off with the cash drawer, police said.

Police were called to the Shell gas station at 801 Division Ave. about 1:10 a.m. and searched for the suspect, who fled on foot. He was last seen heading north on Yakima Avenue.

A K-9 team was brought out to track the robber, but they were unable to locate him. He remains at large.
