Fife man allegedly threatened in-laws with gun during argument

A Fife man was arrested Monday night after allegedly threatening two of his in-laws with a gun during an argument, police said.

Police were called just after 9 p.m. to the 4000 block of Tribute Avenue on report of an assault. As officers arrived, they spotted a man walking away from the area.

The man, in his early 40s, was detained at gunpoint and booked into Pierce County Jail on suspicion of assault.

He is accused of pulling a gun on his father-in-law and brother-in-law.

“They were arguing about an argument that occurred last year,” Fife police Commander Tim Floyd said.

Police seized the gun used in the assault, as well as three others found inside the home.
