A man waiting in line to return movies at a Redbox in East Tacoma was stabbed Sunday, police said.
The incident occurred about 7:25 p.m. at a 7-Eleven convenience store on East McKinley Avenue.
The victim was standing in line when another man arrived and claimed he was next. Witnesses told police that the two argued, and then the suspect announced he was going to stab the victim.
The suspect punctured the victim’s thigh before fleeing in a vehicle.
The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening, spokesman Naveed Benjamin said.
