A bicyclist was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries this afternoon after a collision with a vehicle at North 26th Street and North Vassault Street, Tacoma fire Battalion Chief Jim Zuluaga said.
Officials were called to the scene about 3 p.m.
Witnesses said the bicyclist appeared to veer into the car while both were driving on North 26th Street, and Tacoma police are investigating the accident, Zuluaga said.
