A car left the roadway and hit a tree at the Wauna Curves west of the Purdy spit this afternoon, Washington State Patrol Trooper Guy Gill said.

The crash occurred at State Route 302 at Goodrich Road at about 2 p.m. There was a report of an erratically driven vehicle before the accident, Gill said.

The 57-year-old woman driving the car was taken to Tacoma General for non-life-threatening injuries, Gill said. She is from University Place.

Officials have cleared the scene and are still investigating the cause of the crash, Gill said.
