A 16-year-old Shelton girl who was reported missing this morning has been found safe.
The Mason County Sheriff’s Office said she was found with someone else, but had not been abducted.
Chief Deputy Dean Byrd said this morning that the girl’s bedroom window was open and that the screen had been cut. Her room was in disarray, he said.
She was last seen in her bedroom at 9 p.m. Tuesday, and her parents discovered she was missing at 7:30 a.m. today. An Amber Alert was issued for her this morning.
