UPDATE: All lanes are open.

INITIAL POST: A rollover collision on westbound State Route 16 at the east end of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge is blocking the left lane, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation at 4:34 p.m. WSDOT traffic cameras show vehicles backed up to at least the South Union Avenue ramp.

One vehicle carrying a 25-foot travel trailer was involved in the collision, and there is minor injury, Washington State Patrol Trooper Guy Gill said.

Was there a second accident happening on the Gig Harbor side of WB 16 ? Saw the road sign that collision was cleared off the bridge only to enounter another accident just when I got over the bridge. Is it that hard for people to just keep driving in a straight line ? …on a road with no oncoming traffic ?

  2. Yep….It’s that hard. Cant be done.
