A man was seriously injured after leaving a Tacoma nightclub early this morning and being jumped by five other men in the parking lot, police said.

The victim was reportedly harassing the DJ at Latitude 84, 8401 S. Hosmer St., and was assaulted by numerous men when he left around closing time. At some point during the brawl, the victim’s head struck the pavement and he suffered serious injuries.

All suspects fled in multiple vehicles. Nobody has been arrested in connection with the aggravated assault.

400 S. Hosmer?? I don’t think that is an address. There is a nightclub at 8400 S. Hosmer that has had trouble in the past. I bet that is what they are talking about.

Frozenfish Did your brain freeze or do you just have a problem reading numbers?

  3. PTGranny says:

Looks like 8401 to me…and it seems there are an awful lot of issues at that particular place in the past!!

  4. NewDragon sure didn’t take their friendly pill this morning. It said 400 South Hosmer when it was first posted. It didn’t even mention the name of the club.

This place always has some sort of drama.

How is this place not closed yet with all the incidents?

  7. FrozenFish says:

Yep…the original article said 400 and didn’t have the name of the club. It was Latitude 84, like I thought. I agree with some of the previous posters, I work near there and it seems like there is always some fight or problem there.

NewDragon…not even going to bother with you.
