A 70-year-old man was killed late Tuesday after his car struck a tree and rolled over in Thurston County.
The collision occurred about 11:20 p.m. in the 2700 block of Reservation Road.
The Washington State Patrol said the man’s 2002 Ford Escape was traveling north on Reservation Road near 25th Avenue when it left the roadway, hit the tree and rolled. It stopped on its side on the shoulder of the road.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver has not been identified but troopers said he is from Fairbanks, Alaska.
