Gov. Chris Gregoire has directed all Washington State and U.S. flags to be lowered to half-staff in honor of those killed in the Colorado theater massacre.

Twelve people were fatally shot at a midnight showing of “The Dark Knight Rises” in Aurora, Colo. Another 58 were wounded, including seven critically.

The flags will remain lowered through the close of business Wednesday.

Twelve people were MURDERED at a midnight showing…Please give proper diligence in your reporting.
No reason to lower the flag (in honor) for being injured…

I see that after my scathing post on the 24th, the entry was corrected to read “fatally”; although this still belies the fact that whacko Holmes murdered innocent movie-goers…Thanks for the fix TNT.

Twelve have died and three were also active servicemen. The majority of ALL the seriously injured people had BULLET wounds. Horrific.

Some were saved by police taking them to emergency quickly . Some still in hospitals.

NO complaints of the flag lowered!
