A fire at the back of a Sound Transit bus caused 26 people to be evacuated from the vehicle about 4:30 p.m. today in Fife, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The bus stopped at the bottom of the exit 137 ramp of southbound Interstate 5, State Patrol Trooper Guy Gill said.
No one was injured, and another bus was sent to pick up the passengers.
Sound Transit said it was a brake fire.
