Two controlled burns will be held at Joint Base Lewis-McChord today, so don’t worry if you see smoke.

The burns will last from noon to 4 p.m.

One will be visible from Rainier Avenue and the other can be seen from Interstate 5, Highway 507 and the town of Roy, according to the state Department of Natural Resources.
