Chance of thunderstorms this week, but summer temperatures

The forecast may show cloudy days and a chance of thunderstorms, but temperatures are expected to remain in the mid to high 70s this week.

Today will be the warmest day with a high near 80. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Wednesday and Thursday will be cloudy with highs of 75 and another chance of showers Thursday night.

Forecasters said the sun may peek out Friday, with temperatures dropping into the low 70s.
