Renton police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 74-year-old man who has not been seen since leaving a residential care facility Sunday.

Sam Humphrey did not return to the facility, 71 SW Victoria Ave., after leaving about 5 p.m. Sunday.

Police said he is familiar with the city and often walks to downtown businesses.

His family is concerned that something bad may have happened since Humphrey has never failed to return home before. He has suffered strokes in the past.

Humphrey is 5 feet 10 and 190 pounds, with grey hair and blue eyes. He was not wearing glasses when he left the home.

Anyone who has seen Humphrey is asked to call 911 or the Renton Police Department at 425-430-7500.
