Pierce County sheriff’s detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a 45-year-old Edgewood man.

The man operates a contracting business out of his home in the 2800 block of 108th Avenue East.

His employees reported seeing the man about 10 a.m. before leaving on a job. When they returned, they found him dead inside the house.

“We’re treating this as suspicious until something tells us different,” sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said.
