A burglary suspect was arrested after exiting the building in front of Tacoma fire officials and having a stolen ID on him at the time, Fife police said.
Fife police and Tacoma fire responded to an alarm in the 1400 block of Alexander Avenue East about 3:40 p.m. Wednesday.
The man was booked into Fife jail, and could face charges of burglary in the second degree and possession of stolen property in the third degree, police said.
