The burglary occurred June 3 at the Target store, 23rd Street South, at the corner of Union Avenue.
Police say a man entered the store about 8:30 p.m. and hid behind several large boxes until the store closed. Around midnight, he took several items of luggage from the shelves, smashed multiple display cases and loaded the luggage with electronics.
He then broke open a glass door and fled on foot, heading west toward Union Avenue.
The burglar dropped a piece of luggage filled with stolen goods as he escaped.

The burglar is a black man about 20 years old with a light complexion and slender build. He was wearing a black and white checkered hooded coat, light colored pants, black shoes, white gloves and a baseball cap with a red bill.
