The Washington State Patrol says a Rainier man injured in a collision in Thurston County three months ago has died of his injuries.
Robert Denison, 81, died Tuesday from injuries related to the March 21 collision on state Route 507 near Manke Road.
Troopers said the driver at fault, a 49-year-old Yelm man, faces charges of vehicular manslaughter, hit and run and driving on a suspended license. He was believed to be driving under the influence at the time of the crash.
The Yelm man was heading east on Manke Road and was stopped at a stop sign before pulling out onto SR 507 and hitting Denison’s pickup truck, which was pushed into a third vehicle.
The driver then left the scene.
