An SUV collided with a family of four riding two separate motorcycles in Graham at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

Three of the motorcyclists were transported to hospitals, two in serious condition and one in critical condition, according to Graham Fire and Rescue.

They said the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating, but KIRO 7 reports that the SUV crossed the center line as it was heading northbound on 92nd Avenue East, then hit the two motorcycles that were heading south.

They also report that police believe alcohol may have played a role in the incident.

The driver and passenger of the SUV were not injured.
