Tacoma firefighters will be burning down an East Side home today for practice.

They’ll be conducting a training burn at 6816 E. B St., the Fire Department reported. The drill will start about 9:30 a.m.

The “final burn phase” – during which the firefighters let the flames engulf what’s left of the home – will be in the afternoon.
