A 28-year-old man wanted for killing two people in Louisiana has been found in a Tacoma-area home.

Members of the Pacific Northwest Fugitive Apprehension Task Force received information that the man was at a home on 92nd Street, , the U.S. Marshals Service reported. The Marshals Service sponsors the task force, which is comprised of investigators from area law enforcement agencies.

The task force investigated and found the man was inside Wednesday morning.

They called out for the man. He came outside and was taken into custody without incident, the Marshals Service reported. He’s being held in the Pierce County Jail while he awaits extradition back to Louisiana to face murder charges.

The man was arrested in January in connection with two homicides, the Marshals Service reported. He reportedly confessed to the slayings but escaped while being transported to the county jail.

Law enforcement in Louisiana got warrants for the man’s arrest on two counts of first-degree murder and one count of escape.

Richard Ploof, supervisory deputy for the U.S. Marshals Service, said the man had relatives in the area.

Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals are on the hunt for Reanaldo Nargo. Investigators say Nargo shot two men with a .40 caliber handgun. Investigators say one of the men was shot in the head, and the second, hunted down and shot execution style.

Cops say he second victim saw what was unfolding and watched his friend die, so he took off running. Detectives say Nargo caught up to the man, shot him in the leg and, after he fell to the ground, shot him four times execution style in the head. Authorities believe the shooting was over an AK-47 — a gun Nargo believes the victims stole from him.

Nargo was picked up for the shootings and taken into custody. Investigators say he even confessed, in detail, to the brutal murders, but Nargo wasn’t in custody for long. Somehow, he managed to escape. After the escape, a hit came up in NCIC for Nargo’s arrest in Pierce County, Wash. Nargo is wanted for failure to appear out of Tacoma on assault charges from Jan. 19, 2007.

On June 13, 2012, authorities arrested Reanaldo Nargo in Tacoma, Wash., thanks to an alert AMW tipster.
