An Amber Alert has been issued for three children who may have been taken by their parents in the Marysville area.

The parents have violent histories and may be headed for South Carolina in a silver 1998 Pontiac Grand AM with license plate number AGJ9693, the Seattle Times reports.

Child Protective Services requested the Amber Alert on Tuesday.

According to the Times, the children’s father, Curtis Drakeford, 33, is under investigation for striking the children with his fists in 2010. He was charged with molestation of young children from another relationship in 2010 and has had domestic-violence issues with the missing children’s mother, Ashley Todd, 29.

Another example of reunification gone horribly wrong.

  2. Somthing has been left off here. If they are with both parents why an Amber alert? Were they taken from somewhere else?

  3. So what do you mean by reunification??
