Local clergy will gather Tuesday for a brief, spiritual ceremony at the South Hill home where two men were gunned down last month.

The Moment of Blessing for Travis Dennis, 32, and Jeffrey Poling, 36, will begin at 10 a.m. at Dennis’ home in the 9400 block of 175th Street Court East.

The men were shot in the head inside the home. Their bodies were discovered May 28. Investigators have said they believe the men were targeted but haven’t made any arrests.

The Associated Ministries sponsors the Moment of Blessing ceremonies at all locations in Pierce County where homicides have occurred. The ceremonies are intended to provide support for the victims’ families, friends and the community where the crime took place.

The ceremonies are open to the public.
