Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information in a double homicide earlier this week in South Hill.

Travis Dennis, 32, and Jeffrey Poling, 36, were shot in the head in Dennis’ home in the 9400 block of 175th Street Court East.

Dennis’ father went to the home about 8:45 a.m. Monday because he hadn’t heard from his son. He spotted one of the bodies inside and called the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.

Investigators have said they believe the victims were targeted. There were no signs of forced entry and no evidence of a struggle.

Detectives also have said a computer tower and several guns are missing from the home.

Detectives want to talk to anyone who saw any suspicious people or vehicles near Dennis’ home Sunday night or early Monday.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000 for information leading to arrests and charges filed in the slayings. Tipsters can remain anonymous.

Reach Crime Stoppers at 253-591-5959.
