A woman bent getting an acquaintance to fork over money she owed her, went beyond the usual harassing phone calls and threats of court action early Friday.

Tacoma police said the woman, described as 5-feet 1 inches tall and weighing 95 pounds accosted another woman who owed her money in the 800 block of South I Street late Thursday night.

When the debtor didn’t pay up, she slashed the woman on the back and face with a weapon.

The injured woman was treated for her wounds at St. Joseph Medical Center. The wounds were not life-threatening.
