Tacoma fire responding to a hazmat situation in North End

ORIGINAL POST:

Firefighters are at North 36th and North Warner Lawrence in Tacoma, where a dump truck apparently has gone over an embankment and is leaking diesel fuel.

No reports of injuries, One person taken to the hospital, and the state Department of Ecology and hazardous material teams have been called in to assess the situation and initiate a cleanup.
