The thefts and vandalism occurred sometime between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30 a.m. today at the fenced car lot in the 11500 block of Pacific Highway Southwest.

Lt. Chris Lawler said the thief smashed windows on seven vehicles, causing about $2,800 in damage. The navigation systems were worth more than $12,000.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call the Lakewood Police Department tip line at 253-830-5064 or the department’s front desk at 253-830-5000.
